We meet at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church - 201 FM 1431  Marble Falls, TX 78654

What day & times do classes meet?

Tuesdays from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Do I pick and choose individual classes?

Your student stays the entire time and gets to take all the classes! We want to create a true community learning experience and believe this is the most fun and economical way to give homeschool families a peer-group learning environment each week.

How long is the program?

We meet for 12 weeks in the fall and 12 weeks in the spring.

What grades do you offer?

PreK4 - 8th Grade for the 2023-2024 school year.

How are the groups divided up?

We have four different age groupings, they are: Scouts (PreK 4-5), Explorers, (Kinder- 2nd), Pathfinders (3rd-5th) and Trailblazers (6th-8th), these are typical groupings but we have had different ages/grades in different groupings if it is a better fit for the student.

What curriculum do you use?

Since we have the freedom to meet your children where they are developmentally versus forcing your children to be at a certain level, we pick and choose from many curriculums and teaching techniques, including but not limited to emergent style, Montessori, Charlotte Mason, etc...We are a faith based, non-denominational group so we will also use Biblically-based materials.

Are there class parties/celebration days?

Yes, each semester there are two Poetry Tea Times (each has a different theme) that includes dressing up and eating special treats as we listen to great poetry and talk about beautiful paintings.

Is there take-home work?

Not at this time.

How is this Different than a co-op?

Co-ops are usually based on a gathering of like-minded families who come together for classroom instruction for their children. Typically those classes are conducted by moms with an interest in a particular subject. On the other hand, our instructors are certified teachers or instructors with years of experience in a certain field, who are passionate about fostering independent thinkers. Because our approach to learning is done in a more natural environment with hands-on activities, we hope to instill in each child a lifelong love of learning and a spirit of curiosity. We desire to support parents by walking beside them in their homeschool journey by providing a unique small-schooling setting in which children are able to experience peer and social interaction on a regular basis. Children and parents will benefit from the high-quality lessons.

I have a specific curriculum I want to use already, can I do both?

If you have curriculum you would like to use in addition to our program, of course you may do so.

Are there field trips?

Yes! These are planned usually before the school year but sometimes they are added in when there is enough interest.

Community Events?

Yes, we plan on having several each year to allow the parents to get to know each other better.
